1905 Heritage shirt
Introducing our new heritage shirt based on the club’s kit worn in the 1905-06 season. The shirt was created in collaboration with Bees United, Brentford FC’s official supporters’ trust.
The club first made a move to Griffin Park in 1904, and during this time and throughout the 1905/06 season players wore blue and yellow, colours which were inspired by the Rothchild’s family. Lord Rothschild was a club patron in the early 1900s which encouraged a change in shirt colours in 1903 to blue and gold. During these seasons in the Southern League 1, Brentford played in this kit in contrast to the red and white stripes that the club is known for today.
